Client Process
3) Successful candidates will be invited for an interview. This process is not just a matter of scheduling a date and time, rather it is centered around risk management and expectation management. The key to successful consulting is to look ahead of the process, and pre-empt problems before they happen, and take steps to ensure all parties involved are on the same page at any stage in the process.
-
Explain the expected interview process to the candidate, educate on key drivers, and goal posts.
-
Explain the candidate's most recent situation and expectations to the client (motivation to change, level of urgency, current salary, etc.).
-
Align timelines between candidates and client to facilitate ideal timing (usually either party has more urgency than the other, which needs close management in order not to disrupt the hiring process.)
-
Eliminating surprises – Preparing not only the candidates for interviews, but also clients is an important step in the process. This helps to reconfirm expectations and allows us to communicate any unique situations that might need attention.
-
Salary and budget verification is something that happens throughout the process. These changes need to be managed successfully in order to facilitate a successful introduction.
-
Openness and honesty – withholding information from either client or candidate is counter-productive. Before you make a decision on hiring a candidate we partner with you to address potential risk factors allowing a well informed decision.
-
Attention to detail – As expectations, emotions, and goal posts tend to fluctuate during interview processes, it is important to continuously have the latest and most accurate information, which is why we always reconfirm at each step.
4) After the final interview it is time to make a decision.
-
In light of the candidate’s qualifications, interview results and situation, we can help you prepare a competitive offer.
-
We help bridge the gap by consulting with the candidate on your behalf, should the budget be limited and negotiate options.
-
We present the finalized offer to the candidate on your behalf, and due to our pre-closing process we can facilitate a high conversion rate of offer to acceptance.
-
We offer resignation training to candidates to ensure a timely on boarding process.
