Message from General Manager, TMC Japan
 
TMC has been a leading recruitment services provider since its inception in 2003 through the direct development of relationships with prospective candidates and employers. I am pleased to announce the launch of our new website which will allow us broaden our network of opportunities for our clients and candidates alike.  
 
Recruiting in Japan and Asia-Pacific Regions have matured since the economic recession last year. Despite more candidates looking to change in the current market, and more competition for vacant positions, employers have become more specific with their search requirements, and still find it difficult to attract the right type of talent. One of the possible reasons is that despite cutbacks and layoffs across the industry, top talent is still securely employed. Valued and talented employees are quite ambivalent about the risk of changing career in a down market. With increasing numbers of applicants for attractive positions in the industry, HR and line managers see an increase in their time spent on sourcing through resumes, without seeing the expected results.
