LTE I&V Team Leader
XX is situated in an extremely dynamic market where quality of our services is the key factor to our customer's success. Now, we decided to strengthen R&D department. Under this department, we will focus on LTE related project for now. We are pretty sure you will be able to accumulate great experience here. We are looking for flexible and dynamic candidates.
1 Responsibilities
The I&V Team Leader is responsible for:
Leading an integration or system verification team of engineers, and acting as mentor for less experienced engineers.
Planning the daily activities in order to meet overall time plan and product quality.
Regularly reporting progress, issues etc from integration/verification activities to I&V Project Management.
Actively supporting the I&V Project Manager and Test Manager in technical or test related issues, including feasibility work.
Identify risk areas and potential technical problems.
2 Work Tasks
Work tasks of I&V Team Leader include:
Plan integration/verification work, lead test execution, and coach and advice test engineers in their daily work.
Identify and drive to get technical issues impacting integration and verification solved.
Participate in I&V project meetings.
Participate in integration/verification related meetings, workshops etc.
Participate in planning for an automated test environment.
3 Authorities
The I&V Team Leader is authorized to:
Plan his/her work within the frames given by his/her line manager and the I&V Project Manager.
Plan and lead integration/verification team, including assigning work tasks.
Give test related recommendations on tollgate decisions.
4 Competence Requirements
4.1 Knowledge and Skill Requirements
In order to perform work the I&V Team Leader should have:
Professional Requirements:
Very good knowledge of system integration/verification
Good experience of LTE test environment
Good knowledge of test tools, simulators and automated test environment
Business Requirements:
Good knowledge of docomo processes and way of working
Good coordination skills
Fluent in Japanese and business level English
Human Requirements
Good people skill
Strong initiative ability
4.2 Experience Requirements
In order to perform work tasks the I&V Team Leader should have:
Experience of verification methods and tools, both for integration and system verification
Preferably more than 2 years experience in WCDMA/LTE verification
4.3 Additional requirements
In order to perform work tasks the I&V Team Leader should have:
The possibility to travel for a few days in a row
The possibility to adapt to flexible working hours
