Job Location: Tokyo
Job Description:
The successful individual will Meet and exceed revenue of security products and management objectives by successfully establishing and managing security focused partners which include acquiring/developing partners.
The responsibilities include the following:
• Coordinate and develop our local sales and marketing activities.
• Develop the security product sales revenue pipeline via channel partnerships.
• Recruit partners to join partner programs.
• Maximize partner-based revenue contributions in each security focused partner.
• Develop relationships with distributors to obtain leads and undertake joint marketing and sales activities.
• Proactively contribute input and feedback into the overall strategy of the
security channel.
• Support APAC Director through team sales activities.
• Implement channel promotions.
• Provide guidance and leadership to assigned region and their management
Required skills:
• The ideal candidate will be self motivated, team oriented, driven to develop and increase revenues through channel partnerships.
• This individual must have excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Strategic selling skills, technical acumen, the ability to work through various channels, the ability to partner effectively with the direct sales force, and excellent presentation skills are required for this position.
• The ideal candidate will have the ability to run sales training and communicate complicated technical concepts.
• A successful individual can recognize and acquire strategic business opportunities.
• This individual has the flexibility to embrace new sales models and the working knowledge of building channel and making numbers.
Required Experience:
• The ideal candidate has a strong track record of building and maintaining channel relationships at the executive and sales leadership positions within the assigned channel partners.
• This candidate has 5+ years of successful, progressive channel sales management experience in the networking/security sales industry, preferably in security hardware and software infrastructure applications.
• Ideally, the candidate should have verifiable experience and references from resellers in a channel sales role and 3+ years of experience in the security solutions arena. It’s important that the candidate have an Internet technology background (e.g. FTP, HTTP, DNS, SSH, etc) and a working knowledge of web based security and network infrastructure with the ability to articulate these technologies to customers.
