Global IT Communications firms is seeking a Security Manager manages security activities within the Customer Unit (CU), including security requirements from hosted activities in accordance with the Governance Model - Group Security. This role is a key to provide the business with professional, cost efficient and risk based security management.
The Security Manager belongs to the Operational Efficiency & Support Department, with a functional reporting line to the Regional Security Director.
Main responsibilities are:

Drive the implementation of global security directives and guidelines, complement with local security instructions if needed.

Based on decision from Regional Security Management Board (RSMB), establish and run a Local Security Management Board (LSMB) within the CU in accordance with the Local Security and Crisis Management Governance instruction.

Based on decision from Regional Security Management Board (RSMB), establish and train Crisis Management Task Forces (CMTF:s) on the appropriate levels in accordance with the Local Security and Crisis Management Governance instruction.

Manage security incidents and investigations in accordance with the Security Incident Handling Process and Investigation Framework.

Facilitate risk assessments based on business requirements, agreements and activities.

Establish and maintain the Country and Information database for Japan.

Provide Business Continuity Management (BCM) subject matter expertise and support local implementation and maintenance activities.

Monitor and control costs and quality within the area of security, including outsourced security functions.

Assist in due diligence processes to perform risk assessments of vendors and partners, when requested

Drive security awareness activities amongst ALL personnel and perform specialized security training for target groups.
Qualifications:
Candidate should have the following degree:

Minimum three years experience in a security related role, including
Management, Information-, Personnel-, Physical security, Crisis Management
Understanding of global and local Insurance Management
IS/IT competence
Knowledge in security products & solutions
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001

Formal Security training (certificate) or equivalent.

Fluent in English and Japanese
