Senior Account Executive for West

 

One of the largest global PC manufacturing companies in the world and has about 22,000 employees working worldwide and is selling to over 160 countries.

This is a first “New World Company” that combines the best of East and West and its business strategy is “Worldsourcing” – sourcing materials, innovation, talents, logistics, infrastructure and production wherever they are best available and selling them wherever profitable markets exist.

 

We have 3 R&D labs called "Innovation Triangle" in Japan (Yamato), the United States, and China. At Yamato, our researchers and engineers are developing “ThinkPad” which are world renowned and multi award-winning notebook computers in the world.

The Japanese PC market size is the 3rd largest in the world and we have acknowledged the importance and focused on business projects in Japan. 

 

The Sales organization is divided into the Relation Model - RM sales group (selling to large companies whose employee number is larger than 1,000) and the Business Partner Sales Group (selling in cooperation with partners and retailers to small companies whose employee number is smaller than 1,000 and consumers). The current products are mainly notebooks and desktops. The portfolio includes workstations, servers and Mini PCs. 

 

【Position Introduction】  People Management NOT Required

The successful candidate will be responsible for customer development and management (large enterprise companies) in the RM as a senior sales representative.

 

Responsibilities】

-           Develop and manage customer relationship with large enterprises companies in order to increase our share in our customers as a sales specialist.

-           Work with the inside sales team to provide leadership in managing clients in their own territory and manage the sales coverage model.

-           Meet our customers’ requests thru coordinating relevant departments.

-           Manage our clients

Key Interactions with:

-           Inside sales, Pricing and Brand teams

-           Fulfilment and Invoice teams

-           Demand and Supply teams

 

Skills, Experience and Competencies】

This role is suited to a highly professional individual that can function effectively working as a member of a team and demonstrate a leadership to achieve his/her assigned quota. The ability to work and think independently will be essential to this position. Also, candidates with open-minded and flexible would be suitable for this position.

 

<Must have the following Skills and Experiences - Essential>  

          5+ years of clients relationship development/management experience at hardware maker 

          Corporate Sales experience to large enterprise companies (more than 1,000 employees) 

          Have strong relation with large enterprise customers (especially top executive level) such as HONDA, Mizuho, Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, JT and etc.

          Strategic account sales and account management skill
