This Company  combines the best of East and West and its business strategy is “Worldsourcing” – sourcing materials, innovation, talents, logistics, infrastructure and production wherever they are best available and selling them wherever profitable markets exist.

 

We have 3 R&D labs called "Innovation Triangle" in Japan (Yamato), the United States, and China. At Yamato, our researchers and engineers are developing “ThinkPad” which are world renowned and multi award-winning notebook computers in the world.

The Japanese PC market size is the 3rd largest in the world and we have acknowledged the importance and focused on business projects in Japan. 

 

Our Sales organization is divided into the Relation Model - RM sales group (selling to large companies whose employee No. is larger than 1,000) and the Business Partner Sales group (selling to small companies whose employee no. is smaller than 1,000 and consumers thru cooperation with partners and retailers).

Our current products are mainly notebooks and desktops. The portfolio includes workstations, servers and Mini PCs.

 

Position】People Management is NOT Required for this Role

The Senior Channel Rep. for Resellers develops good relationships with reseller partners and is responsible for sell-in and sell-through of our products with those resellers. (Please see the list of resellers on the last page of this job description)  

 

Responsibilities】

-           Manage reseller channel sales activities in the Osaka-Kansai area to meet the Business Partner Sales group objectives

-           Develop business thru cooperation with reseller channel partners

-           Strengthen relationships with reseller channel partners

-           Attain agreement with reseller channel partners on marketing & sales promotion plans and deploy them

-           Develop and manage sales and incentive plans for reseller channel partners

-           Develop rebate plans for reseller channel partners

-           Negotiate for business terms

-           Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly sales progress

-           Manage order, sell-thru and inventory

External           Business Partners (Resellers)

Internal            Partner Sales Director, Manager, Marketing and Finance

 

Skills, Experience and Competencies 】

<Must have - essential>

-      Minimum 5 years of experience in reseller channel partner sales at PC or IT (Hardware and Software) company(s) *Details shown below

*   Covering the wide range of reseller channel partners, varying in size from small to large

*   Experience in sales promotion planning and deployment

*   Experience in incentive program planning and deployment

*   Experience in inventory and sales management

*   Experience in business terms creation for resellers

*   Experience in seminar planning and deployment

*   Project management skills

 

<Nice to have - desirable>

-           Workstation and server products sales experience

-           People management experience

-           Business-level English skills (TOEIC 700 or above)

-           Strategic marketing planning experience
