Senior LTE Radio Access Engineer, Care

Responsibilities:

・        The role will perform operational and Care services within the RAN and Broadband team with a prime focus on resolving customer impacting faults. In addition, the Engineer would also undertake implementation activities and ensure seamless implementation of Radio Access Network changes within project or operational timeframes.

・        Ensure high availability of the customer’s RAN and Broadband network through effective fault management of network and customer faults. This would involve activities such as troubleshooting, root cause analysis, vendor escalation and management, correction development, testing and implementation.

・        Participate in network Expansions and software upgrades of the RAN and Broadband network

・        Responsible for Installation and Test of Change Notes

・        Responsible for Acceptance Testing and HW retrofits

・        Technical Support tasks including Help Desk and 24x7 emergency support

Team Description:

Japan Services team manages the rollout and care of client's 3G RAN in 5 regions across Japan. Our aim is to support client's intention to converge their mobile and fixed (broadband) networks which will require a high degree of flexibility from the local engineering team.

Candidate Requirements

Background/Work experience:

・        Masters’ or Bachelors’ degree in electronics, computer science, or relevant academic field.

・        Product knowledge of RAN and LTE network with 7 to 15+ years of relevant experience

・        Change management and Process knowledge

・        3 to 5 years of Team lead experience

Personality:

・        Fluent in Japanese (written and spoken) for communication with customer

・        Culturally sensitive to Japan environment.
